The honest answer to why I named it the One Stretch is that product names are very hard to come by and this was the best I and others could do at the time. You should try it sometime. A good product name must at least have something to do with what the product does or what it is about and then you have to consider internet domain names, trademarks, and the like.

I have to admit, at first I really did not love the name because it was too plain, too long, and maybe a bit boring. After all, I wanted my precious widget to carry a name to remember, but the Clapper, Nike and Chia Pet were already taken.

However, as time passed, the chosen name One Stretch grew on me, especially when one considers what I am trying to accomplish. I want everyone to stretch their calves and I don’t care how you do it, just do it. Don’t complicate things by doing a bunch of other stuff, or what I call busy work. You know; cortisone injections, rolling your foot on a ball, orthotics, expensive shoes, night splints, and the list goes on. Your problem is your tight calves, so do just one thing and stretch your calves. I don’t care if you do it on the curb, on your stairs, on a slant board, or the One Stretch, just do it.

When it comes to the health of the foot and ankle as we age, it is the progressive tightness of the human calf that causes the majority of problems we will experience.  And one simple calf stretch is all it takes to get it right.

The name One Stretch, as it turns out, is the perfect name. Keep is simple and do just one thing, stretch your calves everyday.
